Wrestlers from across the state will be in andamp lt a href andamp quot http www kxnet com t minot-ndandamp quot class andamp quot kxInlineLinkandamp quot andamp gt Minotandamp lt aandamp gt this weekend for the andamp lt a href andamp quot http www kxnet com t north-dakotaandamp quot class andamp quot kxInlineLinkandamp quot andamp gt North Dakotaandamp lt aandamp gt state USA Greco-Roman and Freestyle championships The meet was moved to Minot because of flooding issues in andamp lt a href andamp quot http www kxnet com t jamestown-ndandamp quot class andamp quot kxInlineLinkandamp quot andamp gt Jamestownandamp lt aandamp gt where the meet was originally supposed to be held but Dakota Rattlers head coach Joel Sandy says he s got plenty of support from the community and around the state to host the tournament on short notice Joel Sandy Dakota Rattlers The two different styles one day it s Greco-Roman the next day it s Freestyle You get anywhere from 5 to 7 hundred kids wrestling from ages of kindergarten all the way through seniors in high school It s a good way to wrap up the season with a big state tournament You have kids if they win championships in all three wrestling styles they are called triple crown champions and those are the best of the best in individual weight and age groups The meet begins Saturday at 11 30 a m and Sunday at 9 a m at the Minot Auditorium
