Aggies Wrestling Preview

The Velva Aggies wrestling team is looking forward to another succesful season this year With only three seniors returning they will look to their junior class to take on a leadership role as well Even the freshmen and sophomores are carrying their weight Coach Thingstad hopes to be competitive in the region once again Mike Thingstad Velva Coach We ll have to work down we ll get kids down to weight later in the year and we should have a pretty solid lineup Our goal is to to win the dual title for the fifth year in a row and we re looking for a fourth year in a row in the individual Brian Knorr Velva Senior We lost a couple good guys last year but we have a lot of good guys coming up so we re looking good We think we are going to be kind of towards the top in the region but you never know with that and state you never know with either so we are just trying to do our best and see what we can do Derek Schell Velva Senior We re looking pretty good got a strong junior class not very many seniors just three of us so we are hoping our underclassmen will step it up and help push us through The Aggies host Harvey tonight at 7 p m
